We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Consultant Physician in General Medicine to become part of a dedicated team of consultants responsible for overseeing general internal medicine.
Job Summery
The selected candidate will be situated at an excellent and well-regarded hospital located on the outskirts of London. This position provides an opportunity to improve our inpatient general medical service. There are also prospects for individuals to explore specific areas of interest within their job plan, which may encompass specialty clinics in Gastroenterology, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Infection Disease, and Rheumatology.
The chosen applicant will be responsible for guiding a group of junior doctors and a multi-disciplinary workforce, which includes Physician Associates. Their primary role will involve delivering comprehensive medical services to inpatients, clinic attendees, and emergency admissions across all age groups. As a vital member of a multi-disciplinary team that includes Specialty Registrar equivalents, trust-grade SHOs, foundation doctors, and Physician Associates, you will be dedicated to achieving clinical and quality objectives that are established in collaboration with clinical teams and commissioners, both at the national and local level.
