Role Overview: As the Head of Data, the successful candidate will lead the charge in managing data operations, implementing strategies, and shaping policies. They will oversee the Data Team, ensuring data accuracy, visibility, and security while playing a pivotal role in extracting maximum value from the data and driving company-wide initiatives.
Location: Home-Based (UK only) Hours: Full Time Reporting to: VP Technology
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing company-wide data strategies, policies, and controls.
- Leading and managing the data team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Working closely with stakeholders to identify business needs and drive data initiatives.
- Utilizing Azure data services and data visualization tools to unlock insights.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends in data management.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in senior data management, preferably in health tech.
- Strong leadership skills and line management experience.
- In-depth knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data-related programming languages.
- Familiarity with Azure data services and data visualization tools.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Generative AI tools/models.
- Experience with big data tools and platforms like Hadoop, Spark, etc.
- A numerate/scientific degree or vocational experience in Healthcare data analysis.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, 27001, and 13485 standards.
