We’re looking for an enthusiastic, driven individual to join our fast-paced creative marketing team and be part of that journey.

Our search is for an experienced and highly motivated Creative Copywriter with a proven track record of high-quality creative copy and content. You’ll work in-house as part of our marketing team, leading the copy and content creation for a variety of marketing and communication activity for our full portfolio of brands.

The Leger Shearings Group's ever-growing portfolio of European and worldwide holiday experiences offers something for everyone, from escorted holidays by coach, river or rail to specialist tours and holidays focusing on interests such as battlefields, motorsports, hobbies and crafts.

The ability to adapt your writing style to create engaging and effective copy tailored to a range of target audiences is imperative.

You’ll have a high level of expertise to deliver impressive creative copy that sells and will be able to hit the ground running.

Ability to communicate effectively is a must.

This role is full-time office based in Rotherham.

Key skills/experience:

• A minimum of two years’ experience in copywriting.
• Copywriting skills/qualifications.
• Strong English, research and analytical skills.
• A creative approach to ideas and communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and proof-reading skills.
• Ability to produce accurate and engaging, consistent high-quality creative copy.
• A good knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and manage own workload with a flexible, pro-active approach.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to ensure effective communication with a wide range of contacts, both internal and external.
• Excellent team-working skills with the ability to work collaboratively and co-operatively with colleagues.
• Experience of working with content management systems.
• A good standard of IT skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines, while consistently working to a high standard and remaining enthusiastic and willing to learn.

Responsibilities:

• The creation of creative copy and content for all marketing material and assets for the Leger Shearings Group brands.
• Working alongside the design team to write creative copy for a wide range of on and offline marketing channels, including mailing letters, brochures, magazines, national and regional advertising, emails and social media.
• Updating and enhancing websites through use of a CMS, noting SEO considerations.
• Working both independently and as part of a team on a wide range of projects.

You may have experience of the following:

• Advertising, Creative Writing, Blog Writing, Press Release Writing, Website Content, CMS Systems, Email Marketing, Social Media Advertising, Google Analytics, SEO, PPC Marketing,
• Ideal but not essential:
• Basic Adobe Photoshop skills.
• A basic working knowledge of Adobe InDesign.
