Major Healthcare are working with a high-end independent practice based in Sheffield. They have a new and exciting Optometrist opportunity and are keen to speak with professionals interested in full or part time hours.
The practices requires a passionate and enthusiastic individuals with a patient centric mindset to cover the breadth of Optometry. Benefit from cutting edge testing suites and facilities, with Optomap, OCT, specialist dry eye clinics and contact lens services.

Key Advantages
- Up to £65,000 basic salary + lucrative bonus
- 45 minute - 1 hour testing times, giving the ability to gain a greater understanding of patients concerns and needs
- Use of state-of-the-art technology, within 2 screening rooms
- Equipment: OCT / Optomap / Auto Phoropter / Corneal topographer / variety of Visual Fields / Slit lamp / Trial frames / Computerised management system /
- Running specialist services and clinics including: Dry eye clinics / Sports vision / Glaucoma screening / Corneal topography / Specialist and medical contact lenses Inc. Orthokeratology
- Excellent support network working alongside Optometrists with a variety of specialties who look to continuously promote internal clinical development within the practice
- Working within extremely attractive and modern, high-end practices
- Working with a full range of desirable eye wear made by premium brands - from well-known names like Tom Ford and Persol, through to lesser known artisanal designers such as ROLF, a small, family-run business based in the Tyrolean Alps
Details and requirements
- Hours: Monday - Saturdays (09:00am - 17:30pm)
- Closed Sundays and Bank Holidays
- Full or part time position considered
- Eligibility to work in the UK and GOC Registered
Salary and benefits
- Up to £65,000 + lucrative bonus
- 25 days holiday + 8 BH (33 in total)
- Potential uncapped profit share bonus, based on sale from clinics (£1K - £5K annually)
