Job description

The Business department at Charterhouse is a thriving part of the school, with more than 100 Sixth Form students and six members of staff. The new Head of Business will be an inspirational, innovative and ambitious leader of a supportive and hardworking team of teachers and will have a passion for the learning and teaching of Business and the desire to share this with our pupils.

Charterhouse can offer flexibility to suit the personal circumstances of the successful candidate. This might include provision of a Monday-Friday only timetable, or a role without boarding duties or co-curricular contribution.

The Department has recently moved to the Edexcel A Level Business Syllabus, and also teaches the IB Business Management course in which we have achieved excellent results in recent years. Business is one of the most popular choices for undergraduate study amongst Charterhouse pupils and we have seen significant growth in pupils opting to study Business in recent years.
