Class Act Teaching Services are currently looking for Maths Tutors around the Oxfordshire Area.

Class Act is looking for Qualified Maths Teachers looking to work as Maths Tutors. Working as part of a program to help the nearly 50% of adults who feel underconfident around anything to do with Maths. Be it helping your child with their homework, checking invoices at work or basic budgeting Maths is a key part of our lives. If you feel like you are a Qualified Maths Teacher who wants to help adults become more confident with Maths then please check the requirements for the role below.

• Possess strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum at the KS4 level
• Be able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• Upkeep a clean, tidy, and considerate classroom environment
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with adult students
• Display a strong, mentoring personality toward students
• Have experience teaching or Tutoring Adults
• Cultivate positive relationships with students, working to inspire a passion for learning
• Be able to accurately assess and report on your students, and articulate solutions to their difficulties

Requirements for this role:

• Recent mainstream school-based experience teaching or Tutoring GCSE Maths
• A relevant Maths degree is desirable
• To hold a QTS in the UK
• Good communication skills
