Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with an exciting North Hampshire-based business to recruit a Finance Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified ACCA/CIMA professional. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the finance team in a busy and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities of the Finance Manager include but are not limited to:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation.
- Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Monitor financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting process.
- Prepare financial forecasts based on trends and organisational needs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with auditors to facilitate annual audits.
- Implement and monitor internal controls
- Ensure effective, accurate and timely communication throughout the organisation, both internally and externally, where required.
The successful Finance Manager:- Ideally Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA.
- Experience in a similar team leading position.
- Strong understanding of financial and management accounting, and budget preparation.
- Proven experience in successfully running an annual audit.
- Inquisitive mindset with the ability to work closely with senior managers and team members.
