Structures Design Team Leader
Based Midlands (B3)
Salary to £67k + excellent package
Structures Design Team Leader required to be an integral part of a prestigious consulting team, guiding pivotal infrastructure advancements as a on a significant highways project. This role promises a dynamic environment where leadership and technical expertise converge to shape the future of transportation.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing a dedicated design team, ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are not just met but exceeded. Collaboration is key; the role involves close coordination with clients and community partners to devise solutions that are not only innovative but also practical, focusing on buildability and maintainability.
The Structures Design Team Leader will oversee the delivery of scheme design, infusing the project with strategic insight and technical acumen. Responsibilities extend to supporting the Design Team Leader with a variety of design tasks, including conducting surveys and inspections, crafting feasibility studies and technical reports, and meticulously planning, programming, and estimating costs.
Candidates must possess a robust background in civil or structural engineering, with a proven track record of leading design teams within major infrastructure projects. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as is a commitment to delivering design work within strict deadlines. Must be Chartered either with ICE or IStruE.
