Programmed Works Officer – Crane Hill Lodge/ Hybrid
Salary: £33,600 per year
Hours: 37 hours per week; Monday – Friday
8:30am – 5pm (Friday 4:30pm finish)
Location: Crane Hill Lodge (Hybrid working)

The purpose of this post is to assist the Head of Compliance and Planned Works in the management of Orwell’s planned improvements to ensure that they are all completed to a high standard, on time and in accordance with Orwell’s service standards.
As part of this role, you will also: - Ensure high levels of customer service and communication is maintained with tenants, Housing Officers, Orwell’s operatives, and external contractors.
- Assist with all day-to-day matters relating to the delivery of planned improvement work ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with the approved budget and any variations are highlighted.
- Produce regular reports on progress ensuring key milestones are set and monitored for planned works.
- Make sure that all planned improvements attain a high standard of workmanship.
- Ensure that all work is snagged, defects are completed, and that the handover procedure is followed for planned work.
- Contribute to service delivery and project planning processes and tenant and resident consultation processes. About you Our ideal Programmed Works Officer will have:
- Previous experience of working in a customer facing environment, dealing with difficult and complex situations.
- At least two years of direct experience of working in a related field.
- Experience of managing projects, building contracts and contractors and producing written reports. More reasons to apply…

- 5 GCSE (or equivalent) Grades A-C including Maths and English Language
- Appropriate technical qualification, is desirable
- Contract Management JCT or equivalent, is desirable
- L3 Project Management, is desirable
