STOCKPORT ACCESS TEAM MANAGER
Service/Ward/Department Summary:
The Team Manager will provide clinical and managerial leadership for the Stockport Access Team.
The successful candidate will manage the operational requirements of the service, and have clear aims for the team’s development as well as being able to achieve set Service targets and goals. You must have a sound clinical knowledge and experience of working in a primary care setting; and must be able to motivate staff in order to achieve high clinical standards and be able to use your leadership skills to develop and promote a strong culture of quality, safety and learning.
You will work in partnership with all stakeholders to provide an accessible high quality responsive service to the residents of Stockport
The role will report to the Service Manager - Stockport Access Team
The Team operates from Monday – Friday 9am – 5 pm.
The Access Team works closely with Healthy Minds, The Transition Team, Home Treatment Team, CMHT’s, EIT and other internal and external providers; such as the Stockport Alliances.
• To manage the Access Team in the Stockport Borough.
• To effectively manage staff within the team – directly and via team meetings.
• To effectively and efficiently manage resources within the team in liaison with the service manager.
• To ensure the team work to national legislation, local policies and procedures and eligibility criteria.
• To be accountable to the Service Manager for the performance management of the team and for the quality of work provided by the team.
• To ensure the service works to agreed objectives and targets.
• To work with and monitor performance indicators for local partnerships.
• Co-ordination of the workforce to ensure all clinical activity is covered, [including the wider MDT as required.
