Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: South East England, Hampton, UK
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £65,000.00 - £75,000.00 per annum
Anderselite are currently recruiting on behalf of a tier one contractor who are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to start in Hampton.You will report directly to the Managing Quantity Surveyor andyou will be expected to take responsibility for theCommercial Management of Project(s). Hybrid working is available.
Job Duties:
- Manage all aspects of the quantity surveying process for construction projects.
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities.
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to maximise project profitability.
- Negotiate and procure subcontractor agreements and materials.
- Monitor project progress and financial performance, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with contract specifications and industry regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Chartered Quantity Surveyor status (MRICS) preferred.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior quantity surveyor role.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
Education:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Additional certifications such as RICS accreditation are advantageous.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a quantity surveying role within the civil engineering industry.
- Water experience or heavy civils
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of construction cost management principles.
- Proficient in industry-standard quantity surveying software.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Chartered Quantity Surveyor status (MRICS).
- Postgraduate qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field.
Working Conditions:
- Office-based work with regular site visits required.
- Hybrid Working
- May involve occasional travel to project sites within South East England.
- Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to meet project deadlines.
