We are looking for a new Production Engineer with a strong background in welding/fabrication to work with a busy engineering company in a small village near Daventry.

This is a Monday – Friday role and a role that involves you leading the workshop.

You will be expected to take ownership of all work coming into the fabrication area, dealing with bill of materials, putting processes in place, looking at new processes that can be rolled out into the factory, working with a budget, and working with compliance.

It’s a leadership role but also a hands-on role that will require you to work on the tools when needed.

The best thing about this role is that it’s a role which gives you direct access to the management team and allows you to effect real change within the business.

To be considered – you need to have:

• A solid CV showing at least 3 year’s experience leading a workshop or manufacturing facility.
• A “doer” – someone who gets things done.
• A person who can take ownership from start to finish.
• Someone with a strong fabricating background (preferred but not essential).
• A process-driven person who understands ISO standards and other compliance.
• Someone who drives, as this place is tricky to travel to without a car.
