Assistant Manager Role in Kingston Upon ThamesWe are seeking a dynamic and professional Assistant Manager to join our new and modern practice in Kingston Upon Thames. If you’re currently a manager looking for a new challenge or a Senior Optical Assistant ready to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you! Work alongside an experienced Optical Manager and Optometrist, contributing to the day-to-day operations and driving the business forward.
Responsibilities of the Assistant ManagerAs our Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in dispensing spectacles, conducting pre-screen tests, and providing contact lens teachings. Frame styling and offering valuable advice to patients will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you’ll lead a team of four experienced Optical Assistants, providing support, motivation, and guidance to achieve targets and KPIs.
Requirements for the Assistant Manager Role Previous optical experience is essential, along with supervisory experience.
Ability to dispense glasses to all levels.
Friendly and personable demeanor with a strong work ethic.
Customer-focused approach and excellent interpersonal skills.
