Job description
Responsibilities: As our Project Manager specialising in drainage, you will:
- Oversee all aspects of drainage construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and financial goals.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Implement quality control measures and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor progress, resolve issues, and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.
- Foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly.
- Lead and motivate project teams to achieve optimal performance and excellence in project execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil construction, with a focus on drainage projects.
- In–depth knowledge of drainage systems, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and empower project teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem–solving abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship.
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
