Commercial Lawyer
Midlands Energy Company up to £71, 634 per annum Midlands 2 days office / 3 days from home (flexibility for candidate who is further away) Sellick Partnership is excited to enter into an exclusive partnership with a Global Energy and Utilities company which is leading the way for decarbonisation and renewable energy in the UK.
Sellick Partnership is currently seeking a Commercial Lawyer to join the Global Energy and Utilities company based in either their West Midlands or East Midlands office on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Lawyer either from a public or private sector background to be part of large-scale business to business commercial projects.
As the Commercial Lawyer you will be: - Joining an experienced team of 5 lawyers which is part of a wider legal team of over 30 lawyers
- Undertaking commercial work supporting energy solutions for businesses to include public sector and private sector customers
- Commercial work will include advise related work, drafting and negotiating contracts
- Undertaking large scale commercial and procurement strategy projects, decarbonisation projects to include offsite PV Solar and heat pumps
- Assisting with the sales, construction and operation of energy solution projects from initial instruction through to completion
As the Commercial Lawyer, you will: - Have strong commercial experience either within energy, utilities or construction ideally
- Be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive
- Be able to work collaboratively across business units and work independently as required
