UK date and time: 06-March-2024 11:45 Applicant Options New Search Login Job Details Help Terms of Use & Privacy Policy Job Details Research Officer - REES Centre Department of Education, 15 Norham Gardens, Oxford, OX2 6PY The Rees Centre, based in the Department of Education at the University of Oxford, is seeking to appoint a Research Officer with applied social science research skills and a rich understanding of issues in the delivery of universal and specialist services and supports in the early years of childhood. You will form an important part of a wider team on the Children’s Information and Kindred early years programme . Over two years you will as part of this wider team: i) map qualitative and quantitative sources and uses of data and information held by a small number of Local Authorities relating to families in receipt of a specific set of services and supports; ii) consult with families and those working with families in those LAs to codesign improved information and uses of information by participant LAs; iii) support work in the LA and local agencies to improve this information and its analysis and use; iv) conduct formative and exploratory evaluation of the impacts of information use. You will hold or be nearing completion of a doctorate together with sufficient relevant research experience. You will have excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational skills and IT skills. You will be expected to liaise with a diverse range of organisations, representing the Rees Centre and developing strong personal relationships with key individuals. The post is full-time and fixed-term for 24 months or until 30 September 2026, whichever occurs first Part-time appointments from 0.5 FTE would be considered.
