We are looking for a Technical Manager to lead our team of technical experts in Nuneaton. Are you passionate about moving things forward, being hands-on to find solutions and supporting a team that crafts quality products? If so, we want to know more about you! 

Our diversified portfolio of tasty and sustainable products includes cheese, butter, spreads, oils, and dairy-free alternatives sold under leading British brands, such as Cathedral City, Clover, Country Life, Frylight and Vitalite.

• Assuming the role of site expert for food safety, quality, integrity and legality and Technical Lead within the Site Leadership Team (SLT) and the SDUK Technical Leadership Team (TLT).
• Managing, supporting and developing the Technical Team ensuring effective training, knowledge and skills are in place to deliver the technical strategy.
• Maintaining and developing the Quality Management System.
• Maintaining and improving the accreditation standards of the site.
• Ensuring good hygiene, housekeeping and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards across the site.
• Delivering and reporting of key performance indicators (KPI) for food safety, quality, legal and integrity in a timely manner.
• Liaising with Group Technical function to ensure compliance with SDUK Group requirements.
• Able to demonstrate experience in a technical/quality related management role.
• Able to demonstrate an understanding and working knowledge of the British Retailer Consortium (BRC) Global Standard as well as a good working knowledge of key retailer standards.
• Accredited with an internal audit qualification such as Campden Lead Auditor or equivalent.
• Experienced in managing a team with a track record of developing talent.
• Able to demonstrate where you have successfully engaged a wide range of stakeholders at all levels across a business.
