Job description
Main Purpose of the Job
To establish a robust and reliable Pea transformation system for future routine use, and to support ongoing Brassica transformation work within the Crop Transformation Platform. The post holder will take on the day-to-day planning of their work to meet appropriate milestone objectives with support from the line manager.
Key Relationships
The post will be line managed by Dr Penny Hundleby (Crop Transformation Lead) with Prof Steve Penfield as co-signatory (Institute Strategic Programme Lead for Building Robustness in Crops (BRiC)). The post holder will work closely with other members of the Crop Transformation group, and engage with other brassica and pea research groups.

- Support group members with the dissemination of the research findings and relevant engagement activities, eg, through preparation of materials for conferences or school visits/activities
