Job description
HSDC is seeking to appoint an experienced or newly qualified teacher to teach Photography. The role is to teach predominantly A level Photography at our Havant campus, with a small proportion of the teaching taking place on vocational programmes at the South Downs site.
1 FTE (25 teaching hours per week) Salary: Grade 5 £32,201.16- £42,078.86 (dependent on experience) Contract type: (Maternity Cover) Fixed term until August 2025 Start Date: Ideally a start date of WC 29th April 2024, however we will consider any start date before August 2024 HSDC is one leading college with three campuses at Alton, Havant and South Downs (Waterlooville). The department is very well equipped, and the successful candidate will benefit from expert technician support. Through knowledge of traditional and digital photography is required to fully support our students to achieve excellent grades. While experience of teaching A level Photography is not essential, it is desirable. This position will suit an enthusiastic and engaging teacher, who enjoys working with ambitious young people and will have the ability to inspire, encourage and motivate our students to achieve their full potential.
