- Job Title: Transport Administrator
- Location: Sparkbrook, Birmingham
- Salary: £23,000
- Working hours: 40 per week office based - 6:00am-15:00pm or 7:00am-16:00pm
We are delighted to be working in partnership with a well established organisation specialising in hard coating and heat treatment. This national organisation is currently in search of 2 transport administrators to assist with an increasing workload. As a Transport Administrator you will be tasked with helping to manage and maintain telephone and software systems to ultimately deliver great results for the companies customers.
Responsibilities:
- Arranging customer collections and deliveries
- Checking drivers have completed defect checklists and reporting oddities
- Transport Administration, including updating spreadsheets, filing and management of systems
- Completing audits as allocated by the transport manager
- Arranging services in line with maintenance planner
- Infringement administration including filing
- Communicate with customers to advise orders are completed
Criteria:
- Proven work experience as a administrator or within a administration capacity
- Knowledge of transport and logistics would be advantageous
- Hands on experience with CRM software
- Experience liaising with internal stakeholders with excellent communications skills
- Understanding of MS packages particularly excel
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- A team player with high level of dedication
- Ability to work at a fast pace in a changing environment
- Ability to work under strict deadlines
