EDS Wire Harness Engineer

Job description
We have an exciting opportunity to join our client’s expanding team in Essex, as an EDS Wire Harness Engineer.
Please note that travel will be required to Turkey and Morocco, therefore a valid passport to travel is required.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and track EDS Concern Progression
- Review Engineering content for alert and prepare approval
- Lead parts pedigree in order to ensure on top changes are correctly applied to harness and material for next build
- Evaluate any risk to previous validated design and if on top changes introduce additional risk
- Support STA lead supplier site on site review
- Track and report PPAP status with program and site STA to ensure correct status is considered in program status
Essential Experience & Skills:
- Understanding of WERS process and workflow
- Understanding of PPAP process and handbook
- EDS Change Management
- Advanced Excel skills and data tracking and compare
- EDS Reporting and tracking
- Change Management
- Data Management
Education Required:
Hours, Location & Additional Information:
- £32.25 p/h
- 37.5 hours
- 10 month contract
- Essex – hybrid remote
- Position confirmed inside IR35
