Maths Teacher Needed for SEMH School in Bamber Bridge
Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs? We have an exciting position available for a qualified Maths Teacher to join our small SEMH school in Bamber Bridge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic progress and personal development.
- Assess students' abilities and tailor teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
- Implement behaviour management strategies effectively to support students with SEMH needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to provide holistic support to students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Right to work in the UK, such as a British passport in date or a valid VISA.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
- Experience and/or knowledge of teaching Maths within Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Previous experience working with children with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
- Patience, understanding, and a compassionate approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
