Purchasing Administrator


Vickerstock are currently working on behalf of a successful Construction organisation to recruit a Purchasing Administrator to join their team in Dungannon.


The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills, be numerically astute and commercially aware.



The Purchasing Administrator will:


Support the Purchasing team to ensure the smooth running of the purchasing function.
Establish and maintain positive business relationships with suppliers.
Updating the purchasing system with new suppliers and updating price agreements
Maintain accurate records of products and pricing.
Review outstanding purchase orders and follow up delivery status with suppliers.
Track shipments and oversee delivery schedules to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
Liaise with stores to ensure all orders arrive on schedule and in good condition.
Review and validate invoices against deliverables.

What you'll need to succeed:


2 years' strong administrative experience
Good working knowledge of MS packages such as Word & Excel
Ability to plan and prioritise work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Strong numerical & communications skills with a high level of motivation.
Strong organisation and time keeping / scheduling skills.
