Arriva Traincare has a an exciting new opportunity for a Train Presentation Coordinator based in our busy Crewe depot . Put your knowledge and experience to great use with this varied role as part of a rapidly evolving organisation.
You’ll receive a salary of £27,470.81 with fantastic additional benefits including 26 days annual leave including bank holidays, pension, healthcare cover, life cover, Arriva Travel Pass, Cycle to Work scheme and Arriva Village retailer discount scheme.
Contract: Permanent working an average of 37 hours per week from 19:00 to 06:00, on a 4 on 4 off shift roster basis.
What you will be doing as a Train Presentation Coordinator?
The role of the Train Presentation Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that trains delivered for service are clean, safe and meet the clients expectations. Leading a team of Train Presentation operatives ensuring all work is completed in an efficient manner. You will be responsible for:
Ensure that the quality of trains leaving Crewe ATC meet the aspirations of the client.
Training of new operatives & retraining of existing operatives in relation to new or best practice.
Effective communications to staff, customers, and the wider management team when required
Complete all paperwork daily relevant to presentation and company requirements.
Robust management of stores requirements, stock control, machinery and equipment in relation to the Train Presentation function.
Manage staff holiday and attendance management, Performance reviews and first line discipline procedures
What will I need to be considered for this Train Presentation Coordinator role?
Previous cleaning experience is essential, the involvement and understanding of train presentation is desirable
Previous experience of supervising/ leading a team
Knowledge and understand of COSHH
Strong IT skills in MS Office (Excel/ Word) and SAP is desirable
