About the Job We are seeking a HCPC registered Band 6 Occupational Therapist but would consider a Band 5 with relevant Neuro experience or who has a keen interest to develop in Neuro Rehabilitation. We are looking for a professional, motivated, flexible and compassionate occupational therapist with excellent communication skills to provide specialist stroke rehabilitation as a valued member of our MDT. You will be able to work as part of a team as well as have experience working independently in patients homes. You will be able to manage your own caseload with the support of an experienced multi-disciplinary team which includes Physiotherapists, Stroke Nurses, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists and Therapy Assistants. The role enables you to work with new stroke patients and progressive neurological conditions using a wide-ranging skills set of Neuro Rehab expertise including such areas as vocational rehab, visual rehab and promotion of independence. You will be supported to develop your clinical skills within the well-established multi-disciplinary team.
