Page Personnel are recruiting for a Management Accountant on behalf of a growing retail business with over 100 stores.

This is a hands on, core management accounts role with a direct reporting line into the COO and working alongside one other accountant plus a transactional team.

Client Details

This role is working for a retail business with over 120 stores who continue to expand across the UK.

You will be joining a close knit team in a business that operates with relatively small, hands on departments where you are truly valued and relied upon.

Description

Management Accountant duties include:

• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepayments & accruals
• Journals
• P&L reporting
• Variance Analysis and commentary
• Cost accounting / bill of materials
• VAT returns
• Assisting with a Sage implementation
• Ad hoc duties as required

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be part qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or qualified by experience
• Have a proven track record in a similar role
• Have knowledge of Sage would be highly beneficial
• Have balance sheet knowledge - how to put this together
• Be an excellent communicator (written and verbal)
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Be able to work to tight deadlines
• Be able to work alone or as part of a team

Job Offer

A salary up to £45,000 based on experience, study support, pension, on site parking, holidays & more.
