Job Description
- Advise on tax planning, business restructuring, HMRC tax clearances and R&D claims.
- Conducting technical research and providing advise accordingly.
- Work closely with the accounts to review corporation tax and personal tax computations and returns.
- Liaise with HMRC in respect of tax enquiries.
- Conduct research in respect of technical tax matters and inform wider teams on tax law changes.
- Support on advisory projects.
- Train and mentorship of junior members of the team.
- Provide a first-class service to clients.
The Successful Applicant
- CTA qualified or working toward this.
- UK Tax experience.
- Competent in using full Microsoft Office suite.
- An understanding of accounts and tax computations.
- Knowledge of VAT, stamp duty, and SDLT would be advantageous.
- Strong ability to work to deadlines and meet these under pressure.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Confident to suggest new ideas and ways of working.
