We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Activities Coordinator to join our successful Retirement Living Plus team on a permanent basis within our Staffordshire based retirement living community at Pencric in Penkridge.
We’re looking for a dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services.
The Role
As an Activities Coordinator, you will design, organise, and deliver a varied and appropriate programme of activities, taking into consideration the needs and wishes of residents.
We are looking for someone to join our team who can demonstrate discretion and confidentiality at all times, who cares about delivering excellent customer service and who can communicate effectively.
Due to the nature of this role, evening and weekend work will be involved.
Skills and experience required:
A commitment to and understanding of good customer service
To be able to solve problems through creative solutions.
Develop fresh ideas that provide solutions to all types of workplace challenges.
Ability to work as part of a team and support other people
Good organisational skills
Competent in using IT packages including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel etc
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
To have a proactive and innovative approach to work
Previous experience of working and supporting older people (desirable)
