Job description
We are seeking an experienced Nursery Room Leader to join a lovely setting close to Windsor which offers a warm welcome. Its light and airy rooms provide a wonderful space for children to explore and learn through play along with a garden to the rear, with an educationally designed outdoor learning area.
As a Nursery Room Leader you will play a pivotal role in shaping the early experiences of young learners. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming, organised, and stimulating room environment where children can explore, learn, and develop to their full potential. There are a wealth of resources to draw on including a computer suite, to introduce the children to the digital world, as well as baking with the in-house chef. Outside, they promote a ‘grow your own’ initiative providing spaces in our garden for children to plant their own vegetables, herbs, plants, and flowers.

Responsibilities: - Innovatively design and implement a curriculum that aligns with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, instilling a passion for learning among children
- Lead and inspire the room team, ensuring the delivery of high quality childcare and educational experiences
- Foster strong connections with parents and guardians through effective communication, regular updates, and well-organized events, building a vibrant and inclusive community
- Mentor and support team members, offering constructive feedback, and promoting continuous professional development to enhance individual and collective skills
- Take accountability for the quality of care in your room, regularly assessing and implementing improvements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - The Nursery Room Leader will hold a Level 3 Early Years Childcare recognised qualification
- Significant experience in an early years setting, showcasing proven leadership capabilities
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Exceptional communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team, driving them towards achieving outstanding outcomes for children
