TRADE COUNTER SALES ASSISTANT / WAREHOUSE
Electric City is a leading Lighting Design and Electrical Wholesaler established 40 years ago based in Harrow, Middlesex. Our business deals with both, private and trade customers and we are currently recruiting for a TRADE COUNTER SALES ASSISTANT / WAREHOUSE.

ABOUT THE JOB
• Job Type: Full-time,
• Salary: Competitive – DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
• Language: English (FLUENT)
• Experience: 1 year (ESSENTIAL)
ABOUT YOU
• Minimum 1 year experience of working in a TRADE COUNTER SALES ASSISTANT / WAREHOUSE environment (ESSENTIAL)
• Good understanding of written and spoken English (ESSENTIAL)
• Basic mathematical skills (ESSENTIAL)
• IT Skills (BASIC LEVEL)
• Ability to manage time and resources to ensure adherence to multiple deadlines.
• Attention to detail and work accuracy.
• You will need to be a good communicator as you will be working closely with a team of experienced operatives and dealing with the Trade and Public.
JOB DUTIES:
• You will be the first sales contact for our Trade customers;
• Representing our team at the Trade Sales Counter, you will help our customers, predominantly electricians and builders.
• Have a good knowledge of electrical products;
• Deal with customers professionally of the phone/ in person / by email;
• You will assist customers with their inquiries, from quotation to order;
• Process payment transactions;
• Liaising with suppliers;
• Contribute to performance and productivity targets set for staff;
• Remain focused under pressure in a time-sensitive environment
• Manual heavy lifting of products in the warehouse – trolleys and equipment provided.
• Loading and Unloading suppliers/customers and delivery vehicles
• Checking goods in
• Picking Orders
• Handling stock
• Shelf tidying
• General care of warehouse: keeping the warehouse clean and organised
SCHEDULE:
• Day shift
• Monday to Saturday
