Job description
K&D is proud to support our esteemed client as they seek a dedicated Plant Manager to oversee their operations.

Objectives:
Direct responsibility for plant and facilities, ensuring the highest operational standards across hygiene, fabrication, aesthetics, engineering, and maintenance.
Foster a continuous improvement culture, driving efficiencies and implementing enhancements.
Ensure adherence to product safety, and quality standards, and prioritise safety and timeliness.
Responsibilities:
Oversee manufacturing processes, ensure safety, and quality standards, and meet production schedules.
Thoroughly train factory operatives, and promote continuous improvement in efficiency and quality.
Lead process engineering and sample bay functions for improvement.
Continuously review warehousing and supply requirements, maximise local efficiencies.
Collaborate with the HSE Manager, ensure compliance, and drive safety culture.
Manage the smooth operation of facilities, focus on continuous improvement, and support 5-year plan.
Develop team members, align individual objectives with business plans, and promote continuous improvement.
Oversee infrastructure projects, drive process efficiencies, recruit, train, develop staff, and manage performance.
Maintain KPIs, implement corrective actions, and drive improvement in performance metrics.
Qualifications:
Degree in Food Science or related field or equivalent qualification, proven leadership skills, track record of achieving results, effective communication, attention to detail, ability to manage complexity and change, and creative mindset.
