An excellent opportunity for two Band 6 have arisen on 9 North Ward which is part of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust and it is one of the largest centres in Europe for the treatment of conditions of the Liver, Pancreas and Biliary System. 9 North Ward is an acute 32 bedded ward that offers care and treatment of conditions of the Liver as well as providing high quality of care to Liver Transplant patients, having performed over 100 liver transplants in the past year, an increase of 29% from previous years.

As a tertiary referral centre for Acute Liver Failure, we see patients referred to us from all over the South of England and Wales, and Internationally.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Sister/Junior Charge Nurse from a variety of nursing backgrounds with excellent communication skills, work well as part of our team and be dedicated to provide a high quality patient experience in line with the Royal Free Values.

Candidates will be required:

• To lead a nursing team
• To deputise for the senior sister
• To support junior colleagues during their development
• To act as an excellent role model
• To deliver world class care to staff, patients and their families
• To be visible and approachable leader in the seamless delivery of care
• To work with the medical and allied health care professionals daily in relation to changing plans of care for patients.
