Your new company This is a highly regarded, leading global company specialising in defence, engineering, and logistics, who are looking to recruit a Senior Manager from their In-House Tax team based in Lancashire. The business is highly recognisable, and their tax team take part in a wide range of international taxes from the UK. This position offers a lot of flexibility and hybrid work, along with strong, international career progression opportunities.
Your new role This role reports to the Director of Tax Strategy & Advisory, who is looking for a senior tax manager who has strong transfer pricing compliance and advisory experience, ideally Big-4 trained with In-House experience. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Offer advice, input, and support to the Director of Tax Strategy in developing and maintaining the transfer pricing strategy and policy both across the UK and overseas.
- Have strategic input into tax and finance risk management with a focus on transfer pricing and some wider corporate tax.
- Provide tax advice to stakeholders across the business on a range of transfer pricing and international tax matters.
- Deliver high-level business partnering initiatives to the company, offering training and support on new legislation.
- Develop and maintain successful relationships with senior stakeholders across the business, and external stakeholders.
- Proactive management of transfer pricing matters with tax authorities (HMRC) and other regulators.
What you\'ll need to succeed In order to be considered for this role, you will have significant experience of transfer pricing, either from an in-house tax team or within a highly regarded, top-10 / big-4 practice. You will be confident in understanding and explaining new legislation, along with being comfortable advising senior stakeholders across the business both regionally and globally. You will also have experience of working closely with HMRC and / or other regulating bodies previously.

- Salary from £70,000 to £85,000 - negotiable depending on your experience.
