Job description

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and driven consultant physician in Stroke Medicine for a full-time position in a teaching hospital located in the picturesque county of Yorkshire. We also encourage applications from individuals interested in flexible work arrangements.

 

Job Summery 

• Working in the assessment and treatment of potential stroke and TIA patients
• Playing an active part in stroke service delivery, which involves emergency care (including Thrombolysis), TIA clinics, inpatient and outpatient care
• Offering clinical leadership along with other stroke consultants to foster the ongoing advancement of stroke services
• Contributing to the adoption of national initiatives aimed at enhancing stroke care
• Providing instruction and training to a variety of professionals, the stroke team, and medical students
• Actively engaging in clinical governance, audit, and research within both the stroke service and the trust
• Ensuring active participation in continuing medical education (CME), appraisal, and revalidation
• Upholding the highest clinical standards in the management of stroke patients.
  

Qualifications & Experience

• MRCP or Equivalent Qualification
• GMC Registration

Contract - Fixed-Term

Salary - £93,666 to £126,281
