Plan & deliver sports coaching sessions to groups & schools. Provide feedback & guidance to help participants improve their skills on performance. Create training programs & practice drills to enhance players abilities. Monitor and evaluate participants progress and adjust coaching methods accordingly. Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to organise tournaments, matches and events. Ensure the safety of all participants during sessions. Maintain accurate records of attendance..

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver sport sessions to primary and nursery aged school children.
• Evaluate your own coaching sessions.
• Communicate with parents and key stakeholders about coaching sessions and individual performances.
• Willingness to learn new sports and be available for additional coaching badges.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Knowledge and keen interest in specific sports.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey instructions and provide feedback.
• Ability to motivate and inspire participants to achieve their goals.
• Patience and understanding with working with children of different ages and skill levels.
• Organisational skills to plan training sessions and manage equipment.
• Adaptability to adjust coaching when needed based on individual and team needs.
• Full driving licence & access to own motor vehicle.

Desirable Skills

• Coaching badges.
• Having played or coached a team sport.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Further Information

The Employer is: ANTRIM PLAYBALL LTD. Salary: 16/17 £5.28, 18/20 £7.49, 21/22 £10.18, 23/24 £10.42 per hour. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
