Job description Simply CV application, 1 to 3 days Teams or face to face interview… Salary: £34,000 to £36,000 Deputy Manager: focused on children home Pharmakia is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Deputy Manager to oversee a specialized children's services facility. The selected individual will bear responsibility for the well-being of young individuals utilizing the client's services, working with 15–18-year-old children. The Deputy would have some time on shift and sometime based at the office for administration. You would line manage two team leaders and a team of 25 to 35 support workers. The candidate should already have, or be willing to work towards, Diploma level 3 to 5. The candidate should be experienced in supporting people with complex needs and experienced in line managing staff teams. Key Responsibilities · Uphold and promote the rights of young people with respect and dignity. · Report safeguarding issues per policies, following safeguarding principles. · Alert Service Manager to significant changes in service users' needs. · Maintain records in accordance with our client’s policies. · Conduct formal key work sessions with detailed reports for each. · Encourage young people's involvement in service, quality assurance, and development. · Communicate effectively with internal colleagues and external bodies.
