Job description

Element has an opportunity for a Machinist to join our rapidly expanding team. This role performs a variety of routine and non-routine machining assignments and insures timely and accurate test results. This role will require you to be proficient in a number of core business skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures. Shift pattern once training completed will be 4 days on, 4 days off 7am - 7pm. This is a great opportunity to join a leading Testing, Inspection and Certification company.

After training a competitive shift allowance is offered!

• Specimen preparation using Bandsaws, lathes, polishing equipment
• Specimen inspection to ensure all quality requirement are met
• Specimen cutting and machining 
• Maintaining records to ensure traceability is obtained
• Any other duties reasonably requested

• Good general standard of education
• Pro-active
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work un-supervised or as part of a team
• Quick learner
• Ability to work a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern once training completed
