Role: Head of Maths
Type: Temporary
Hours: Full Time
Location: Buckinghamshire
Rate: Negotiable

Eden Brown are seeking an experienced Head of Maths on behalf of an established FE College in Buckinghamshire.

Duties to include:

Responsible for ensuring all staff has the ability to accurately assess GCSE Maths and providing any feedback and development required
Monitor and coordinate the initial assessment of all learners, including those on work–based study programmes
Continuously improve the quality of learning, teaching and assessment specifically related to GCSE Maths
Undertake appraisal of staff, including observations and identify any development needs
Assess levels of progress, producing and maintaining teaching and learning improvement plans to promote quality teaching throughout

As Head of Maths you will:

Hold a recognised Teaching Qualification.
Have the minimum of a Degree or level 5 qualification in a Maths related subject
Experience of teaching and assessing GCSE Maths to 16 to 18 year old

DBS is also needed for this role, if you don't have a current DBS Eden Brown can apply for one on your behalf.
