Head Chef - Sherbourne - No late nights. Term time - £21 per hour
Are you a Chef looking for a new opportunity within the contract catering industry that can provide you with a great work / life balance?
We are currently looking for a Chef for our catering site in Sherbourne.
Key Information:
* Salary: £21 per hour
* Hours: 40-50 hours per week, Shifts between 6:30 am - 7:30 pm
* Location: Short drive from Sherbourne
* Contract: Temporary
* Up to date clear DBS Enhanced - required
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
* Provide a friendly catering service, performing a variety of manual tasks associated with food production and service in the school
* Preparation, cooking and presentation of food to agreed standards.
* Help with preparation of food items and maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen
* Work alongside the kitchen team
Required skills include:
* A strong understanding of produce and ingredients
* Experience of a variety of kitchen environments and cuisines
* Knowledge of food production methods
* Embrace new ideas and processes
* Positive and approachable manner
In order to be successful, you'll need to have:
* Experience working in a similar environment
* Ability to follow instructions
* High Standards of hygiene
* Up to date clear DBS Enhanced
