The Role and the Team
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Engagement Manager to join the Marketing team. You’ll help us drive member engagement, by raising awareness of Blue Light Card through events and helping to grow our market.

What You’ll Do
- Drive Business to Business outreach: identify, pursue and build new relationships with key organisations across eligible sectors with scalable processes
- Optimise and implement a scalable and consistent engagement strategy with member organisations we already have relationships with
- Work closely with the team to plan and execute new initiatives for new and existing member organisations
- Create brand content and toolkits for distribution with member organisations, both 360 campaigns that members would benefit from or individualised to partnerships with these organisations
- Develop a consistent communication channel to update key organisations with relevant news and offers. Test new approaches to maintain scalability without losing unique connections
- Assist in planning, executing, and attending events to meet business development and engagement targets
- Support the Senior Marketing Engagement Manager in maintaining a schedule of member events to boost brand recognition and attract new members
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in business development and account management with a strong emphasis on building long term relationships
- Ability to stretch in different directions to get the job done, resilience and adaptability.
- Willingness and enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, scale-up environment where playbooks are being built
- Track record of being able to influence, network and build strong relationships with 3rd parties using a creative approach to building relationships and finding win-win propositions
- Familiar with basic creative development processes, both copy writing as well as asset design to customise templates and toolkits for each organisation. Ability to be able to drive initiatives forward from early inception all the way to roll-out
- Ability to use data to define prioritisation and measure impact
- Full UK Drivers License and flexibility to travel across the UK to attend and run events, with flexibility to attend events outside of usual office working hours when required
We’d also love if you bring
- Previous knowledge of the workings of key organisations, such as as NHS trusts, emergency services or armed forces
- Existing relationships amongst NHS, Social Care, Emergency Services, and Armed Forces community
- Experience of planning and attending events and exhibitions is desirable
