Brand Manager

Salary: C£38,000 to £48,000 depending on skills and experience

Benefits: 10% non-contribution pension, bonus scheme, UK healthcare scheme, 25 days holidays plus bank holidays

About the Role:
We are working with a market leading food manufacturing business based in Hull who is seeking to appoint a Brand Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the brand management of leading UK brands. The role entails creating, managing, and implementing brand strategies, as well as developing and executing engaging marketing campaigns to drive brand, product category, and business growth in alignment with our client's business strategy and objectives. Additionally, the Brand Manager will play a key role in identifying new products and product categories, developing business cases, and delivering go-to-market strategies.
This is a 15 month fixed-term maternity contract

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategy within budget constraints.
Develop and enhance brand identity to leave a lasting impression on customers, ultimately improving product sales and market share.
Implement and deliver brand strategy into brand plans, positioning, traditional and digital marketing initiatives, and integrated campaigns.
Manage packaging design, branding, and brand relaunches, including full packaging design updates.
Oversee the product portfolio across assigned brands.
Identify new products and categories, create concept ideas and business cases, and execute go-to-market strategies, including ROI monitoring.
Liaise with marketing agencies and third parties on brand strategy and campaign development.
Support sales efforts for strategic customers, including providing marketing support, attending customer presentations, conducting wholesaler team training, and participating in exhibitions.
Track, report, and analyse brand performance, understanding ROI on campaigns to drive brand growth and identify growth opportunities.

About You:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Excellent brand management experience, including creating brand strategies and marketing campaigns with clear objectives, strategy, and tactics.
Creative flair for marketing communications.
Organised, proactive, customer- and service-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
Performance-driven with good analytical skills.
Excellent project management skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Experience in FMCG or food and beverage production in either B2B, B2C, or both is desirable.
Educated to degree level in Marketing, Business Studies, or equivalent.
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, both internally and externally.
Proficient in all Microsoft packages.
