Location: Macclesfield, Cheshire
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Anaesthetic & Recovery Practitioner seeking a new opportunity? Sanctuary Personnel is currently assisting a prestigious healthcare facility in Macclesfield, Cheshire, in their search for a talented individual to join their team.
Our client, a renowned hospital with a dedicated multi-disciplinary team, is committed to providing advanced treatments using cutting-edge technology. They specialise in various medical fields, including orthopaedics, cosmetics, and general surgery, delivering exceptional care to patients from Cheshire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire, and Greater Manchester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting patients undergoing a variety of elective procedures, including General, Thoracic, Spinal, Neurological, Orthopaedic, Laparoscopic, Ophthalmic, gynaecology, and Urology.
- Preparing the operating theatre/anaesthetic room for surgery, ensuring all necessary instrumentation, equipment, and supplies are available.
- Completing patient records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Running theatre lists independently.
- Assessing patient health and well-being across a complex caseload and delivering tailored care.
- Promoting best practice and contributing to quality improvements.
- Creating a safe and supportive working environment focused on health, safety, and infection control.
Requirements:
- HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner or NMC registered Nurse with an Anaesthetic module.
- ALS or ILS certification preferred, but training can be provided.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
