About The Role

Are you a Category Manager specialist looking for a new challenge? Do you want to work for an organisation who believes that everyone deserves a safe and secure home? If so, we have just the role for you.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Category Manager to provide Procurement and Management services to  Advantage South West (ASW) as part of the LiveWest Procurement team.  ASW are a Procurement group owned by South West Housing Associations, creating better outcomes for social housing through collaborative working. 

On a day to day basis, you will be responsible for the optimal performance of Procurement and supply chains and provide a comprehensive and professional Procurement service to a wide variety of ASW stakeholders.

 

You will provide strategic leadership, business planning, relationship management and operational management to achieve ASW's purpose of “improving homes and lives through collaboration and integration,” including day to day project management and delivery of their business plan.

 

You will source the right commercial solutions, confidently apply, and interpret the relevant Procurement regulations and applicable legislation to award and manage successful frameworks and contracts to support the requirements ASW members. Through building and managing effective supply chains, reducing organisational risk, and developing ASW’s supply chain function, you will clearly demonstrate exceptional value for money and strategic alignment. As a Procurement professional and skilled people manager, you will advise, develop, line manage and inspire colleagues within and outside the procurement function. 

 

This role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis and will be based in our Exeter office. A hybrid working style is an option.
