Finance Reports Support Officer Finance Division, Hythe Bridge Street, Oxford This application is currently only open to candidates internal to the University. The role will mainly focus on managing and supporting the development of new or updated reports and supporting end users with reporting queries that come through the first-line Support Desk within FPSA.

About the Role We are seeking to appoint a
Finance Reports Support Officer within the Financial Processes, Systems and Assurance (FPSA) team as part of the reporting team who are responsible for delivering improvements to the University’s financial systems. If you have relevant experience and knowledge of any of the University’s systems and processes we would encourage you to apply.
You will work in conjunction with the Reporting Manager, to ensure that the University’s Change Management Process is followed.
The main parts of that process for which you will be responsible will be supporting the development of new and updated reports, creating rigorous test plans and managing testing phases, writing documentation and guidance on new and updated functionality, and the ongoing support of users with queries that come through the first-line Service Desk within FPSA including but not limited to SplashBI, Excel Connect, SplashGL, finance analytics tools, configuration & maintenance, and Excel macros.
This role reports to the Reporting Manager but requires close working and cooperation with the Finance Reports Developers and other members of the Finance Analytics Team within the Financial Processes, Systems and Assurance (FPSA) team and external third-party suppliers.
This role will be pivotal to completing the major finance reporting improvements from future EBS projects, and taking over the support and advice for reporting solutions for stakeholders, senior managers, colleagues within the Finance Division and users of Finance services in departments: principal investigators and finance users.
