• Monday to Friday, from 6am starts (8 hours shifts)
• Permanent job position
• 28 days’ leave rising to 33 with each years’ service

Duties

• Managing of a team across both production and manufacturing processes
• Planning of production activities, maintenance and logistics
• Reviewing weekly performance and forward planning of any issues that may impact production or delivery (including, material shortages or machine breakdown)
• Providing support, guidance and mentoring with staff members
• Increasing of output by driving operational KPI’s
• Managing of all HR related activities – including recruitment, 1-2-1’s, appraisals and training
• Introduce and drive continuous improvement within the business
• Overlooking Health & Safety procedures on site
• Engaging leadership and making decisions to drive the team forward
• Leading both daily and weekly meetings and reporting back to Managing Director
• Various other duties, as and when required

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 5+ years working as Production / Manufacturing manager
• Candidate must be able to commute using own transport
• Must feel confident making tough decisions which will impact the business
• Experience working with various production processes
• Engineering or Manufacturing qualification would be beneficial
• Candidate must be contactable out of hours – due to various shift patterns
