Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education and a genuine commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of students with SEN.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with SEN.
- Implement and adapt the curriculum to ensure accessibility and inclusivity for all students.
- Provide personalized support and guidance to students to promote academic, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding student achievements and challenges.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in special education or relevant SEN qualifications.
- Proven experience working with students with a range of SEN, including but not limited to autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and speech and language disorders.
- Strong understanding of SEN legislation, best practices, and evidence-based interventions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
