Job description
QA Technician role – Food Production Environment
On behalf of our client, a well- established food manufacturer based in Tipton, we are looking to appoint Quality Assurance Technicians join their technical team.
• Permanent Role
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday days OR Monday – Thursday nights
• Location: Tipton
• Salary DOE £25k-£28k
Responsibilities
• Carry out internal audits
• Sample collection for product, environmental and allergen testing
• Running of taste panels
• Assisting with complaints investigation
• Assisting with process validations
• GMP inspections
• CCP check, metal/glass verification
• Complete daily inspection records
Requirements
• Previous experience as QA in food production- minimum 2 years (essential)
• Previous experience in Internal auditing (essential)
• HACCP Level 2 (essential)
• Industry recognised food technical qualification ( desirable)
• Ability to work in a team and on their own
