We are at the forefront of technological advancements in the oil and gas industry and are actively exploring the possibilities that Generative AI can unlock. To drive these innovations forward, we are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong analytical mindset, a proven record of accomplishments in building and productionizing ML (Machine Learning) models, and experience in prompt engineering/fine-tuning of Large Language Models.

What are the key job responsibilities? 

• Fine-tune LLMs for Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) applications. 
• Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of the models to ensure robustness, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards. 
• Collaborate with other stakeholders and subject-matter experts to brainstorm ideas and improve the quality of the output. 
• Deploy models into production. 
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in Generative AI. 

What are we looking for? 

Minimum requirements 

• Ph.D./Master's in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field. 
• Understanding of large language models and transformers. 
• Strong Python programming skills, including experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch / TensorFlow). 
• Understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, unit testing, and collaborative development. 

Preferred requirements   

• Relevant publications in reputable journals and conferences, with a focus on deep learning applications. 
• Experience in a fast-paced startup/scaleup environment. 
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud, particularly SageMaker, or other model training/tracking tools for deep learning applications (MosaicML/Weights&Biases/MLFlow/etc). 
• Experience with MLOPs.
