Pulse are currently looking for a HCPC registered Band 7/8a Clinical Psychologist to join our fantastic NHS older adults support team in Canvey Island, Essex. This vacancy is available to start as soon as possible on a full-time/part-time basis for an ongoing period.

Our client is looking for a highly specialist Clinical Psychologist to conduct detailed assessment and formulation, therapeutic intervention, and neuropsychological assessments, covering both mental health and organic problems, such as dementia. The post holder will be required to provide a qualified specialist psychological service to Older People as part of the community Mental Health Team and Memory Assessment Service AND Inpatient settings such as wards for Older People.

To be considered for this role, the psychologist must:

• Have HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist
• Hold a doctorate-level qualification in Psychology (Clinical)
• Have experience working with older adults
• Be a great listener with strong communication skills
• Be empathetic, observant, and independent.
