Hays Education is delighted to be working with a reputable secondary school based in Newcastle who is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team. For this job, the ideal candidate will have experience in teaching Science at KS3-KS4 level. The role is temporary, but there is a possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.
Your new role
- Planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons to students at KS3-KS4 level
- Creating and maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment
- Monitoring and assessing student progress and providing feedback to students, parents and carers
- Collaborating with other teachers and staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience for students
- Participating in school events and activities as required
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance and progress

What you\'ll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science
- Experience in teaching Science at KS3-KS4 level
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
